Smith to Unveil Grazing Legislation at September 17 Hearing
The Subcommittee on Livestock, Dairy and Poultry, chaired by Rep. Richard Pombo (R-CA), will hold a hearing on Wednesday, September 17 to examine public lands grazing issues. Agriculture Committee Chairman Bob Smith (R-OR) will attend the hearing to unveil his "Forage Improvement Act of 1997," legislation to reform public lands grazing.
