Lucas Announces Republican Subcommittee AssignmentsAg Committee completes organization for the 111th Congress

MEDIA CONTACT: Today, Ranking Republican Frank Lucas announced the subcommittee assignments for the Republican members during a business meeting with members of the Agriculture Committee. There is one vacancy that will be announced at a later date. And, as the Ranking Republican, Lucas serves as the ex officio member of all subcommittees. Also, at this meeting the Committee finalized its organizational and rule structure for the 111th Congress. One addition to the Committee rules requires that the results of all recorded votes in the Agriculture Committee be posted to the Committee’s website within two days of the vote.
