Washington, D.C. – House Agriculture Committee Ranking Member K. Michael Conaway (TX-11) made the following statement today after USDA and USTR announced a deal for guaranteed market access for U.S. rice in South Korea:

“I am pleased that President Trump has inked yet another win for American agriculture, securing guaranteed access for U.S. rice to the South Korean market. This follows recent announcements including China lifting its ban on U.S. poultry imports and Brazil expanding access for imports of U.S. wheat. I am grateful that President Trump is standing by America’s farmers and ranchers and is holding our trading partners accountable.”
