Chairman Thompson Congratulates Tom Schultz on Appointment as U.S. Forest Service Chief

WASHINGTON, DC — House Committee on Agriculture Chairman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson (PA-15) issued the following statement on Tom Schultz' appointment as Chief of the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Forest Service:

"Congratulations to Tom Schultz on being named Chief of the U.S. Forest Service. Tom's deep commitment to active forest management will be instrumental in tackling our nation's challenges of forest health, resilience, and catastrophic wildfires.
