Today, the House Agriculture Committee held a hearing to review the role of credit derivatives in the U.S. economy. Chairman Collin C. Peterson of Minnesota called today’s hearing, the second by the Committee in as many months, to examine credit derivatives and their part in the worldwide credit and financial crisis.
