WASHINGTON, DC — Today, U.S. Rep. Glenn “GT” Thompson announced Parish Braden as Republican Staff Director of the House Agriculture Committee in the 117th Congress. Braden currently serves as Republican Staff Director of the House Committee on Natural Resources.

"Parish is a trusted advisor who will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Agriculture Committee. His management talents and strategic abilities have resulted in legislative victories both in the minority and majority. I look forward to working with him in this role as we carry out the important work of the Agriculture Committee in the coming Congress,” Rep. Thompson stated.  

Prior to his current role, Braden served as Deputy Staff Director for the Natural Resources Committee in the 115th Congress. He worked as Communications Director at the Natural Resources Committee in the 114th Congress. Prior to that, he served as Communications Director and Policy Advisor to Rep. Thompson. Parish also previously served in various other senior legislative and communications roles on Capitol Hill and at the Republican National Committee.
